This year we celebrate 29 years of service to Waterloo Region.
Waterloo Sports Medicine Centre (WSM) has treated athletes and active individuals since 1986. We are multi-service clinic that includes access to Sports Medicine Physicians, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Pedorthist, Occupational Therapist, and Naturopathic Doctor. Our experienced clinicians works together as a team to bring you complete health care for your activity-related injuries. We believe in teaching you, our patients, about the importance of listening to your bodies to ensure you remain healthy and injury-free.
Karen Howieson and Susan Wakeley are now trained facilitators of the FIFA 11+, a complete warm-up to prevent injury program. Any team under the umbrella of the Ontario Soccer Association in the Waterloo Region can contact Karen or Susan to come out and facilitate the learning of this program.
Holli Schimus and Bethany Stuart became Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), the highest level of manual therapy qualification in Canada, and recognized internationally.

RUN FOR THE TOAD! WSM's Lance Dawson was keynote speaker at the media launch on October 3 for Run For The Toad cross country race in Pinehurst Conservation Area near Paris, Ontario. On the panel of experts was Kim Dawson, Sports Psychologist. WSM's relay team consisting of Dave Galloway, Ken Edmondson, Randall Helm and Charles Warman, placed 18th out of 65 relay teams in the 50 Km race.
