While attending Iona College in New York on an Athletic Scholarship, Adam competed at the NCAA Championships as a Track/Cross Country competitor. After completing his undergraduate degree Adam pursued a Masters Degree in Teaching at the University of South Florida on an Academic Scholarship.

Upon his return to Canada, Adam continues to compete at a National and International level under his sponsor Skechers Performance. A highlight in Adam's running career, aside from winning the OFSAA Championships as a youth athlete, was winning the silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Trials over 10,000m. In 2017, Adam graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Cambridge.

In addition to competing in running Adam is also a Certified Running Coach through the NCCP. Adam enjoys applying his learning through Coaching to treating various injuries and pathologies associated with active daily living as well as sport-related injury through the medium of Massage Therapy. Adam's approach to treatment includes a variety of techniques including myofascial release, facilitated stretching, General Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, etc.

In Adam's free time he enjoys learning about history, reading, traveling, and dabbling in piano.

Each member of  WSM's massage therapy staff is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and is highly qualified in the administration of therapeutic sports massage.  Aside from being extremely relaxing and stress relieving, massage therapy helps to speed recovery, maintain flexibility and increase circulation to muscles and joints.

We have a loyal group of patients, like marathon runners and triathletes, who come for massage before their heavy activity to prepare for the strain to their bodies.
