Carli Thomas

Carli graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in May of 2016.  Throughout her time in school she participated in many sports-related outreaches that peaked her interest in sport massage.

While growing up Carli participated in gymnastics, dance, and soccer and was an avid skier and snowboarder, spending most of her winter on the slopes of Blue Mountain.  In high school Carli switched to focus more on cheerleading where she cheered for her high school team and went on to cheer at Laurier.  From her competitive experience Carli understands the importance of health and wellness and enjoys being an active part of injury rehabilitation.

Before becoming a massage therapist Carli complete her degree in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University and found her passion for rehabilitation of sports injuries.  She understands the importance of looking at the body as a whole and working with clients on the best course of action for their individual needs.

Carli has also spent several years coaching gymnastics at a local gym and understands the importance of healthy return to sport.  Carli now coaches at Cheersport Sharks in Cambridge and works with athletes who are 3.5 to 22 years of age, of all levels of experience and skills.  She enjoys working with children and seeing them learn, grow and share the love of the sport for which she has a passion.

Outside of the clinic Carli enjoys the beach and travelling.  She enjoys running, cycling and swimming.  Her next goal is to run a half marathon in the next year.
