Melanie Miller

RMT (Hons), Osteopathy (current study)

During her tenure at school, Melanie participated in various sport opportunities, including numerous rounds with the University of Guelph track team, Oktoberfest Run, Mudpuppy Race, Horror Hill Race amongst others, influencing her graduation with honours and a Specialization in Sports. Melanie completed her diploma from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in June 2007.

As a result of a knee injury, Melanie became a patient of WSM before she joined the team, and so she brings an intimate perspective to the client’s experience and process of rehabilitation.

Throughout the years, Melanie has participated in numerous sports at different levels of competition including basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and field events allowing her to bring a well-rounded knowledge of sports injury prevention and maintenance to WSM. She is passionately dedicated, not only to helping all levels of athletes, but also to introducing massage therapy to all persons who could benefit from this modality.
Melanie has successfully completed her second year of studies and continues to obtain her Diploma of Osteopathy (Manual Practice) which includes techniques such as Muscle Energy, craniosacral, and Strain/Counterstrain.

In her spare time Melanie enjoys an active gym lifestyle, hiking and dance classes.
