Waterloo Sports Medicine has an occupational therapist on site who can make custom splints for upper extremity injuries and chronic hand conditions. An occupational therapist is a health care professionals who who help people to resume or maintain participation in a variety of tasks.

Sabrina has her Post-Professional Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University as well as her Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  Sabrina has worked in Occupational Therapy since 2003. She has worked in a variety of settings with her main focus on working with patients with upper extremity dysfunction due to injury, repetitive strain or chronic conditions.

In the school setting, Sabrina has also worked with children with fine motor challenges, as part of a family health team and in the community setting. She started KW Custom Splinting in 2016 to help meet the needs of clients in the community that have acute or chronic upper extremity injuries that would benefit from a custom thermoplastic splint. 

​

She loves to be active. She played varsity rugby through university. She continues to enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and playing a variety of activities with her four young children.
