Instructor

Anita has over 10 years of experience in private practice with her focus being primarily on orthopedics and sports medicine. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1996 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree and the University of Western in 1999 with a degree in physiotherapy.

Anita successfully achieved a Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 2005 from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

She is also a Stott trained Pilates instructor and is teaching both Essential and Intermediate Mat classes in the K-W area.

Anita's treatment philosophy involves restoring movement to the dysfunctional joint and focusing on applying specific exercises to normalize movement and prevent reoccurrence. Anita has a strong interest in personal fitness and spends her free time weight-training, playing beach volleyball and attempting to run.
