Melanie Miller,  RMT.

Melanie completed her diploma from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in June 2007 and is very excited to be part of the WSM team!

 

During her tenure at school Melanie participated in various sport outreaches including numerous rounds with the University of Guelph track team, Oktoberfest Run, Mudpuppy Race, Horror Hill Race amongst others to graduate with honours and a Specialization in Sports.

Throughout the years Melanie has participated in numerous sports at different levels of competition including basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and field events allowing her to bring a well rounded knowledge of sports injury prevention and maintenance to WSM.

 

Incurring a knee injury Melanie is a previous patient of WSM and brings an intimate perspective to the client’s experience and process of rehabilitation. She is dedicated and passionate to not only helping all levels of athletes but to also introduce massage therapy to all persons who could benefit from this modality.

 

Melanie continues her education into the field of Osteopathy, currently completing prepatory workshops and plans to commence for her Doctorate of Osteopathy (Manual Practise) in fall 2008. She will also have Quantum Touch Level I completed by October 2007.

 

In her spare time Melanie enjoys an active gym lifestyle, hiking and dance classes.
