Artistic Gymnastics

Jennifer LezeuI started artistic gymnastics when I was seven years old and I am currently a National Senior High-Performance Athlete. My participation in this sport has helped me create many goals for myself – some that I have achieved and others that I have thought were impossible. One of my most amazing feats came at the Canadian National Championships in 2005 where I finished eighth in the all-around and fourth in floor, finishing behind three talented Olympians. I felt a huge sense of accomplishment and it motivated me to go back to the gym to work even harder for the upcoming year.

The staff at WSM has helped me through a lot during my years in gymnastics. Whenever I had any concerns or questions that needed to be answered, they were always there. Dr. Lee’s assessment of my injuries and his guidance over the years have really made a difference in my performances and my ability to get back into shape when I needed to for competitions. With the support of my family and the guidance of my coaches, gymnastics has really taken me places and allowed me to experience things that not many people my age get the chance to. With the support of these people I will continue to pursue my goals and dreams no matter how impossible they may seem.
