Squash
For more than 20 years I have been a recreational squash player. I play doubles squash twice a week and occasionally an additional singles game. My goal is to play for fun and I almost always achieve this.
My crowing moment came when I managed to get a position as the lowest player on the lowest team representing our club! – Fifth position on the D team!
I started coming to Waterloo Sports Medicine after I tore my calf muscle. Thanks to Dr. Lee, physiotherapist, Karen Wright, and massage therapist, Mairin Viol, I was able to recover from this injury. My goal for six weeks after the accident was to cross Israel by foot (from the Mediterranean to the Sea of Galilee). I am very happy to say that I succeeded, covering 75 kilometres of sometimes very rough terrain in three days. Thank you WSM!
