Lee Anne Underwood - Alpine Ski Racer
Lee Anne Underwood  Age: 47   Physical Education Teacher WRDSB
While training for an upcoming slalom race, I hooked a gate, resulting in a full lower leg pull of the tibia-fibula joint.  When a 6 week injury occurs half way through the season, you pack up the equipment and hope for a better luck next year. Based on my positive experience with previous injuries I immediately contacted the WSM clinic. Fortunately I was able to see
Dr. Lee within 14 hours of my fall.  With the guidance and positive attitude of the staff at WSM I was able to return to the slopes in three and half weeks and back to competition by four and a half weeks.
Many thanks to the staff at WSM for your immediate attention and expert care.

 Colleen Caplin - Personal Trainer

Colleen Caplin   Age: 28   Brampton Blazers Senior Fastball Team
Sports is and always will be a big part of my life.  My major sport for the past 20 years is fastball and it has taken me all around the world, including through University in the US.  Last October I was playing basketball as one of my off season sports and injured my knee.  Immediately my concern was my fastball season, but thanks to
Dr. Lee and the WSM staff I will be ready to lace up the cleats as our team looks to improve on our national bronze and silver medals over the past two years.

Mike McKinnon - Hockey Player for London Racers

Thanks to Rob Burns at STARS I was able to overcome an injury that would
otherwise have needed much longer to heal. His personal training program allowed
me to maintain my fitness levels during the rehabilitation process.  I was healthy and
ready for training camp. Through the one-on-one sessions, I was able to learn  exercises that are specific for the sport of hockey.  I have altered my off-ice  training during the season to ensure the stability I need to complete everyday.
 Thanks STARS!

  Cathy Kueneman - Distance Runner
Cathy Kueneman - Long Distance Runner
I'm always happy when I don't need to see either Dr. Lee or Dr. Hall, or the physio  team because that means running is going well!  However, I do book regular massage treatments with Lance Dawson. I proactively seek sports massage therapy with Lance to loosen any tight muscle area and to check that I am in  alignment, ready to run. Lance works proactively with me, too, planning treatments that will help keep injury away - my primary goal so that I can enjoy running faster  and longer!
