Liz Czenczek, PT


Liz completed her Physical Education degree at the University of Calgary in 1989 and went on to graduate with distinction from the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta in 1993. Liz was a member of the Canadian Field Hockey Team from 1983-88 and 1993-94. She competed at the World Championships (1994, 1986 bronze medalists), the Pan American Games (1987 bronze medalists) and the Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea (1988). Liz has also participated in a number of other sports and activities including basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, dance, cycling, yoga and dog walking.

Liz has completed a significant number of post-graduate physiotherapy courses in Canada and the United States. She utilizes her experience and her extensive training in advanced manual therapy techniques, muscle energy techniques, exercise therapy and CranioSacral techniques to treat amateur and professional athletes, university athletes and "weekend warriors" of all ages and abilities.  Liz was the physiotherapist for the Canadian Junior Field Hockey Team from 1996-2001 and the Canadian Indoor Hockey Team in 2007. Liz was extremely proud and honoured to be selected to carry the torch for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and for the 2015 PAN AM Games.
