Charles Warman, PT

MPT, BSc Kin

Charles completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. After travelling overseas and moving to Ontario, he returned to school and completed his Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Saskatchewan in 2010.

His inspiration to become a physical therapist was a university professor, a PT, who made such a great impression that Charles decided to look into PT as a career for himself. PT was the best fit, as he was very interested in exercise, health science, and helping people in a work environment that would allow him to be directly involved in client care.

In high school, Charles played basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, and competed in track and field. In university he managed to stay active in recreational volleyball and basketball. These days Charles stays active hiking and strength training, which has become his main area of interest.

Charles would like to be focused on more active treatments and patient education so that they can better manage their injury. He is also interested in preventative therapy through strength training. Charles has completed his Orthopedic level 3 courses as well as Level 2 acupuncture through the AFCI. Over the years Charles has developed a keen interest in the assessment, treatment and prevention of strength training injuries. Specifically the squat, deadlift and press movements are his areas of interest.
