Utilizing a thorough orthopaedic  assessment and video analysis, we take a unique approach to treating your running injuries. Whether you are new to running or are a seasoned racer, a running assessment will offer you insights into your running.

When should I come for a running assessment?

A running assessment is recommended to any runner who has an injury that is impacting the ability to run or preventing you from running. Whether you are new to running and want advice on how to begin safely, or you are a seasoned runner and are looking for a way to get more out of your training, WSM can help you achieve your goals.

What should I expect from a running assessment?

  • Thorough orthopaedic assessment that diagnoses specific strengths and weaknesses

  • Evaluation of shoe tread wear and advice on shoes

  • Comprehensive video analysis identifying any biomechanics that could be contributing to running injuries

  • Advice on how to correct any run biomechanics

  • Return-to-running plan or modification of current running plan

  • Strengthening exercise that will address any of the assessment findings
