Dr. Doug Dittmer, MD
FRCPC, Physical Medicine + Rehab., Dip. Sport Medicine (CASEM)
Dr. Dittmer is a graduate of Queen’s University and McMaster University and has over 20 years experience as a medical doctor with specialty in Physiatry and Sport Medicine.
Dr. Dittmer has been a Team Canada Physician for three Paralympic Games and several Canada Games events. He was thrilled to be one of the Sports Medicine physicians at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. He can be seen cheering right behind the bench in the Sports Illustrated photo of the Canadian Men’s Hockey Team’s gold medal goal. He is also currently on staff at McMaster University Sport Injury Clinic, Physical Edge Sports Medicine Clinic in Oakville, and Grand River Hospital at Freeport.
Did you know that Dr. Lee can often be found as rehearsal pianist for the Kitchener Waterloo Musical Productions (KWMP), as pianist for their newly formed Show Choir, and has played in the orchestra for their fall productions at the Centre in the Square in Kitchener?
Dr. Lee also treats actors/dancers/musicians from Drayton Entertainment and Stratford Festival.
