Dr. Burzin Rao completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
Burzin provides chiropractic care for individuals across the lifespan, with a strong interest in sports rehabilitation and return-to-sport. As both a clinician and an avid runner, he understands the physical demands of sport, work, and daily life, and the importance of helping patients move well, stay active, and build long-term resilience.
Clinically, Burzin works with patients managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck and low back pain, running-related and lower limb injuries, bone stress injuries, tendinopathies, ankle and knee injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. His approach emphasizes exercise-based rehabilitation, progressive loading, and strength and conditioning principles to support recovery and a safe return to sport, work, and everyday activities. He integrates manual therapy including chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilization, and soft tissue techniques to improve mobility, manage symptoms, and support rehabilitation progress.
Burzin has pursued additional training in running injury rehabilitation and bone stress injury management, and incorporates objective assessment tools such as strength testing and dynamometry to guide clinical decision-making and return-to-sport planning. He holds certifications in the McKenzie Method for low back pain, Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), Myofascial Release Technique, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy.
Outside the clinic, Burzin enjoys running, strength training, badminton, and staying active year-round.
