B.Sc.(Hons), M.Sc.PT
Jamie Wong is a dedicated physiotherapist who combines a wealth of education, clinical experience, and a passion for active living to help his patients achieve their best health. Born and raised in Waterloo, Jamie developed a strong foundation in movement and athletic performance through years of participating in a wide range of sports, with a particular focus on racquet sports. As a former member of the original Northfield Racquet Club, Jamie’s early involvement in athletics helped shape a lasting interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
He studied at the University of Waterloo, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, before pursuing a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University, graduating in 2016.
With 10 years of experience, Jamie’s approach to physiotherapy is comprehensive and individualized. He treats everything from acute sprains and overuse injuries to post-surgical rehab, with added expertise in injury prevention screening, running assessments, and return-to-sport programming. He utilizes a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, targeted strengthening/exercise prescription, acupuncture/dry needling, cupping, and taping to address the specific needs of his patients. With this multifaceted approach, Jamie tailors treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.
When he’s not on the courts or treating patients, Jamie can be found in the gym or spending quality time with his family.
