She received her Canadian Certification in Pedorthics in 1992.

She has been in Pedorthic practice for the past 20 years and continues to be most interested in sports medicine. Michelle has served on the Certification Committee with the Pedorthic Association of Canada in the past and was an instructor for the Pedorthics Program at the University of Western Ontario Continuing Studies.

Michelle continues to be active in basketball, both playing and coaching, as well as playing volleyball. Michelle, a Level 2 NCCP certified basketball coach, just completed her third year as assistant coach with the KW Lightning Basketball. Most recently, Michelle took 25 hockey bags full of “gently-used” footwear to Quito, Ecuador on a working/volunteer mission trip. She enjoys playing all sports and travelling with her husband and daughters. Lately, she has become a huge fan of KW Glee, and musical theatre has opened up a whole new world.
