Dr. Tina Rogers

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Tina Rogers a recent graduate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine is the first naturopath in the Kitchener-Waterloo region to specialize in sports medicine. Tina spent the last year of her studies working at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic under the co-founder of the sports med group at CCNM, Dr. Lowell Greib, ND. During this time Tina worked with a variety of athletes ranging from professional dancers, boxers, and swimmers to novice runners, and basketball players. She increased her knowledge about sports nutrition, learned new skills such as Trigger point Acupuncture, and obtained her certification in Spider Tech Taping. She used these skills to successfully treat a wide variety of athletic injuries. Tina also worked at major sporting events including the Toronto Dragon boat races and the Guelph Lake Subaru Triathlon.
Tina maintains an active lifestyle, leading Running Room running clinics and practicing Yoga. Her experiences as an athlete allow Tina to relate to her patients, in turn giving her the ability to develop appropriate treatment plans based on patients’ needs.
Tina’s current affiliation with Waterloo Sports Medicine, a well-respected sports medicine clinic in the Waterloo region, and her partnership with Vibrant Living experts in lifestyle-based medicine, allows her to foster her interests in sports medicine, musculoskeletal pathology (sciatica, tendinitis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, etc.), female health disorders including menstrual irregularities, and menopause and skin disorders including acne, eczema and psoriasis.
