Taryn Bedesky, RMT

BSc, RMT

Taryn graduated from D'Arcy Lane Institute in London, Ontario in 2011 after receiving an Honours Specialization in Biology degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2008.

Taryn has a passion for gymnastics and cheerleading and has been an athlete and/or coach in one or both of these sports for about 20 years. She loves to treat athletes with a combination of Thai massage, stretching and deep tissue massage. This has been especially valuable for cheerleaders by helping to create muscle balance from side to side which goes a long way in sport to promote injury prevention.

Taryn also practices Craniosacral Therapy and Cupping Masage. Craniosacral Therapy is an extremely gentle form for therapy which uses bones of the head and spine to manipulate and relieve restrictions in the outer layer of the meninges (dura mater) to promote healthy motion of cerebrospinal fluid. Meninges surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Cupping Massage is the use of suction cups to help relieve fascial restrictions, adhesions and trigger points.

Taryn likes to 'dabble' in different sports to keep things interesting. She has run a half marathon, played intramural soccer and competed in the 2016 Crossfit Open Competition. Taryn has a strong understanding of injuries and how massage therapy can complement many training programs and treatment plans.
